RTR Elite Dual-Angle Surround S2040

The Patent-Pending Surround S2040s are voice-matched to the OWT65,75,85 and OWCLR Series. They are also a good match for other high quality L/C/R speakers with dome tweeters. Recommended for Front Height speakers and Rear or Side surrounds.

Wider frequency response with Deeper Bass and more extended Treble than Certified Dolby Atmos-enabled surrounds.
Dual optional mounting angles provide more precise “beaming” of sound to the listener’s ears than traditional single angle surrounds.
There is a 20-degree option for seating farther from the S2040.
There is a 40-degree option for seating closer to the S2040.
For vertical mounting high on side walls, the 40-degree setting is best.
For vertical mounting on distant rear walls, the 20-degree setting is best.
Horizontal mounting works best when the surrounds are mounted slightly above seated ear level.
When the S20’s are placed close to the seating position, the 40-degree setting is usually best.
When farther from the seating position, the 20-degree angle may be best.
The objective for the best listening experience is to position all speakers so that they aim at the primary seating area. In this respect, a Single angle option can never match a Dual angle option.
